On a multiple bolt mechanism on a uPVC back door. I think the door hinge or hinges have slipped. Therefore to close the door and lock it you now need to lift it to close and lock door. Therefore it needs adjusting the line up properly with frame. Front door mechanism also keeps sticking hard to unlock front door.
