I would like a concrete base suitable for a Compton sectional concrete shed (same construction as concrete garages, so much heavier than a wooden shed!). The overall size is 4720x1920, approx 16'x6'.
The area is at the side of my house, between the house and perimeter fence. Access would be through the side gate on the other side of the house, which is 3ft wide at the narrowest point, but much wider everywhere else. Direct access from the front may be possible if absolutely needed, by temporarily removing a loose fence panel and going over a small hedge.
The ground is relatively level on the long edge, but the short edge is slightly sloping and has a drop next to the fence The neighbouring ground (paved) is between 10" and 18" lower than the highest point, so presumably some form of retaining wall would be required.
Please include a description of how you would construct this, e.g. blockwork, depth of concrete, anything underneath it. I would be looking to get this done relatively soon and will be paying cash.
