carpet fitter

Hi, I have been given an old carpet which is still in good condition and would like to use it to recarpet my stairs and landing. The carpet came from a landing previously that was approx 4ft wide x 40ft long (Very rough guide as I am a typical girl!) and is in three sections. I have very little money which is why it is a second hand carpet but do not feel able to attempt the fitting myself! Their are 13 stairs and a top level, then a single step up to the landing, which is probably 3ft x15ft? If there is not enough carpet to do the landing, I would just have the stairs done.
