Cat Flap in double glazed window

Hi, I'm moving into a house in Hanover with my two cats. they currently have a cat flap so can come and go as they please. I'd like to fit a cat flap in a double glazed window in the new house. The window pane is approx 80cm x 80cm. I've read a lot of threads on websites and I get the impression that a new pane needs to be fitted with the hole already cut and sealed - is this right? Anyway, any info/quotes would be useful! I can provide the cat flap or get one that a glazier recommends... Thank you! Katie
