Central heating broke, pilot light will not stay on.

Combi-boiler, no problems with heating until this. I have managed to light the pilot light twice since Saturday, but it only stays on for a short while before going out. I can still see a spark every time I press the ignition but doesn't seem to be catching alight. Have been advised the system may need cleaned??
