Change of element on the immersion heater

There is a leak on my immersion water boiler. The leak has caused damage to the electricals, although this is easily sorted. A friend who is a gas engineer advised me on the work that needed to be done. The element needs to be changed, and the electricals dried and wired. Shouldnt be too much of a large job/expensive
