London: connect electric cooker & check previous tenants gas connection has been disconnected properly (ended)

connect electric cooker & check previous tenants gas connection has been disconnected properly

Need this job doing straight away!!!! My mums just moved house & she needs electric cooker wired in.There isn't a junction box so can it be wired in direct to the main cooker switch? Also need the previous tenants gas connection checked to make sure its been disconnected properly. I dont think they used a corgi registered person to do it & it doesn't seem to be capped & not sure if its a connection thats meant to be???? If anyone could please give me a quote asap as this is a job that needs doing straight away! Thanks
