Creating built in wardrobe and covering up old

I live in a new build 2 bed flat where both rooms are separated by built-in wardrobes - each room has one built-in wardrobe (will double sliding doors), however since I use the second room as a study, I'd like to switch access to both sets of wardrobes to the one room. This will require one of the wardrobes to be walled over and access to this wardrobe switched to the main bedroom. Both wardrobes are situated side by side. The skirting around the wardrobe will have to be moved. I'd like to get an idea of cost too as I've not had work like this carried out before, although I do know my neighbours (with the identical flat to mine) have done the same with their wardrobes.
