Damp proofing basement flat

Looking for quotes to fix problems highlighted in a survey on the property I am buying. Quote from the report: "Conditions in the basement flat are extremely damp with no clear evidence of any professional damp proofing or tanking works ever being carried out here. Evidence of rising and penetrating damp were recorded to most sections of the internal walls and also to the solid ground floor." The house was built around 1900, looking to get quotes to fix the issues then will get the job done in the new year. Thanks.
