We own a mill in Nelson, Lancashire and some of the walls are mainly below ground level, leading to penetrating dampness.
We wish to remedy the problem and would appreciate quotes for the job.
The area affected is approx. 60 metres by 2 metres. Access is good and you can erect scaffold towers against the wall.
We have two options:-
1. Hack off the existing plaster and render the wall with a cement/sand render containing a waterproofing additive.
2. Supply and fit a dry lining waterproof membrane over the existing plaster and then plaster over it.
Quotes per square metre for the above work would be appreciated via email to oaklands_house@msn.com
