Drains that smell!

We have terrible trouble with the smell of our drains out side in our back garden. We live in a basement flat and have three floors above us and In the summer we have to shut the windows if anyone above us does the washing up! I have attached pictures of the drains and wonder if anyone can suggest anything, maybe a better cover for these drains?
