fit a new syphon to toilet

We have bought a new syphon for our toilet as it needs to be replaced. IT is an old conventional toilet but requires undoing some rusted butterfly nuts which i am not confident unscrewing. Pretty run of the mill though otherwise. A ten minute job ive been told
