Fit wireless programmer/stat to Glowworm boiler

I have a Honeywell CM927 wireless programmable stat that I need to fit to my new Glowworm boiler. I don't mind abit of DIY but I believe this has to hardwired into the boiler's circuit board and mains supply. And don't want to kill myself, nor do I want to mess up my boiler. I guess this needs to be fitter by a certified electrician or something? Otherwise it would invalidate my boiler warranty right?
