have no internal stop tap within the property and after two burst pipes last winter do not want to waste time having to go outside the house to switch it off from the street. have been told by the water board that its a legal requirement to have one inside the property. Have one in the kitchen which i cant locate but only turns off the water downstairs. I need one fitted so i can switch the water off to the whole house incase of another emergency.
