I need an experienced person to fit wood flooring (engineered) into my flat.
It will be fitted into the hallway leading into the lounge, and the lounge itself.
I would like the flooring in the hallway to go straight until it meets the lounge. The hallway meets the edge of the lounge (left hand side) and it then will be wooden floored side on, going across the lounge.
The flooring in the hallway passes three doors on the left and two doors on the right hand side, hence there may need to be some of the bottom of the doors cut away. ( I am hoping this is not the case as the flooring I have chosen is Kahrs Walnut Montreal (3 strip) which has a total thickness of 15mm (including the 4mm of walnut veneer)
The flooring fits using "WOODLOC"
The total area is 20m2
I will provide all the materials needed and will clarify these with you prior to starting the job.
I expect that fitting a wooden floor is second nature to you and that the work is carried out very precisely (eg around the door frame/architrave)
I want the flooring to fit under the door frame as to give a neat finish and if you can not do this please dont offer a quote)
The beading will also need to be done neatly, as well as where the flooring meets the carpets of the two bedrooms which ajoin the hallway.
My understading is that this job should be done in well under a days work
The job is to start on the firsrt week of december 2011
Thanks
