Flashing

I have a length approximately 1 Metre of brickwork that needs flashing/filling with cement to stop the possibility of water entering. To me this doesn't look like a big job at all and would probably only take a skilled person a few minutes - but I am no expert. I will try and take some pictures of the offending wall. The work can be carried out at any point from today.
