Groundworks - clear area of garden to a level depth of 400mm

Reduce level of garden (part lawn/part planting bed) to a level depth of 400mm. Small trees and shrubs will be cleared beforehand but some roots will need to be cleared. The area to be reduced in level is 3.5 x 4.5m. The area is in the rear garden of an 80's semi detached. There is a drive upon which to locate a skip/small truck and there is side access to the rear garden. The rear garden is slightly raised (three steps) so a temporary ramp will be required -to be provided by the contractor - for machinery and wheelbarrows. Ideally I would like the job to be done within the next fortnight ie by 31st July 2011. Summary: provide plant, machinery and labour to excavate area of garden to reduced level and take all excavated material away from the property. Location: Firwood Park, Chadderton, Oldham
