We live in a one-bedroom flat that has an electric-only energy supply. Our previous hot water setup broke when the thermostat failed, causing the water to over heat and subsequently the tank ruptured. The old tank is still in place and as part of the job we'd like this to be disconnected and taken away. The current tank is a 140 litre hot water capacity with a 40 litre cold feed. We would either like to replace this sytem with a similar but smaller unit or discuss any other options there may be. We have 1 bath and & 1 basin in the bathroom and a kitchen sink that need to be supplied by the hot water system.
