Put a brick/plasterboard wall between the kitchen and the living room. Convert the space under the stairs into a cupboard/storage. Repair the stairs. Put additional electric sockets, move some light switches, install additional sockets. Hide TV cables into the walls. Complete upstairs bathroom refurbishment - new bath, sink, toilet, connect shower to hot water, re-tile floor and walls. Downstairs bathroom - new toilet and sink. Renovate the ceiling for the whole house. Job should be done ASAP. Install underfloor water heating downstairs. Skim and paint interior walls. Install laminated floor everywhere.
