I need my balcony waterproofing

Hi The balcony on my flat needs waterproofing (I think). The lady who lives beneath me has told me that last time that it rained damp patches appeared on her lounge ceiling that were wet to the touch. I had also noticed that there was water collecting in one corner of the balcony (closest to the wall). The balcony itself is only small (about 15ftsq) I live in SW16, and would like the job to be done as soon as possible! I hope someone can help!! Many thanks Emma Clarke
