Warrington: install a door lintel (ended)

install a door lintel

We currently have an external single leaf upvc door which we are changing to a set of French doors (fitted by others). The existing opening is 900mm wide which needs widening to 1250mm to accept the new doors. The wall construction is solid brick work roughly 330mm thick, we suspect we may need to lintels to span the thickness of the wall (unless advised otherwise). We require the opening to be formed an prepared for the installation of the new doors. All other remedial work (re-plastering reveals, etc) will be completed by others as part of on going re-decoration. Rubbish created by works will be removed by others! (please ignore the budget price as we have no idea how much this work will cost but must enter a value).
