We would like a fireplace installed in our livingroom.
Currently the fireplace is bricked up so would need to be opened. The walls either side need to be replastered as when we moved in there was a stone fireplace across the whole wall.
We already have a fireplace, it is a cast iron inner and a wooden surround. But we would like advice on the hearth stone.
In the long term we would like the chimney to be operational and so would like to have a full quote for opening the chimney, lining the flue if needed and and then fitting the fireplace. We would also like a quote for just opening up the space and fitting the fireplace, in a way which means we could line the flue in the future.
I have attached pictures, the first one is just after we took off the concrete/stone that was there when we moved in. The second is the fireplace and surround.
Let me know if you have any questions
