Kitchen and Dinning room need to become one

We have a small end terrace house, standard two up, two down with a kitchen and bathroom extension (single story) from the back of the house. We would like to knock through between the kitchen and the dinning room. The Job would involve removing a 2.4m wide section of wall and installing a beam to support the wall above. Colums to support the Beam would be needed and a work top high section of wall retain / built as and end to the kitchen cupboards. Sizing of the beam would also need to be done and the quote price should include this cost, ideally the beam would be wood. The Job is on Grace Dieu Road in Whitwick
