mains hook up needed for electric cooker + other odd bits

We currently have a gas cooker and are going to be replacing it with an electric in the near future. To begin with we need an electrician to install the correct electrical hook up and circuit breaker required. A double pole control unit is required and a residual current circuit breaker is recomended. We also have some cabling in the living room which we would like to be looked at and if possible removed. Finally there is a light switch that needs replacing(involving removing the backing unit). We have a new backing unit ready to be put in. All going well we will then require you to actually connect the electric cooker on the 17th/18th July.
