Moving electric plug sockets

We have four plug sockets in our living room which need to be moved. Two are either side of a fireplace (on the chimney breast wall) and need to be moved to the alcoves (approx 1m distance). They are currently boxes protruding from the wall and we would like them to be set into wall (we will provide plug units). The other two are in roughly the correct location but sit immediately above the skirting board and we would like them to be moved up the wall slightly (and again set into the wall). We are having the walls replastered after this so it is not essential to finish the wall to a high standard.
