Hi I am currently renovating a Victorian semi on a very tight budget. In order to keep costs low my husband, who is an electrician by trade, has run all the pipework for water and central heating through the house, and we have had our meter moved moved by National Grid.
We now need to have the gas pipe connected to our boiler and the boiler commissioned by a gas-safe engineer. We did have an engineer lined up to do this, but he has had a family bereavement and has had to fly home, which has left us in the lurch as we are moving into the property tomorrow with 3 very young children.
Is there anyone out there that can commission our boiler in a hurry?
