Plumber Needed - Toilet Flush Broken

The flusher on my toilet has broken. It is a 'button' style flush located on the wall next to the toilet. All the toilet's parts are located behind a tiled wall but can be reached via a removable shelf. It feels as though the spring has gone as you can press the flush in but it does not come out. I have to tweeze it out again.
