My Worcester 240CDI central heating system has 7 existing radiators (one per room) throughout the house however I want to add an extra one to a timber stud wall in the lounge as the existing one (beneath a window) is under capacity for the size of the room. The central heating supply pipes to the existing radiator run approximately 100cm from the required radiator location beneath wooden floor boards covered by both underlay and a fitted carpet. The fitted carpet will have to be partially removed and an access point to the underfloor pipe(s) created. On completion of the work, the access point must be made good and the carpet re-fitted to a satisfactory standard. Additionally as the existing central heating system has remained undisturbed for over 10 years I am also concidering the optional benefits having Sentinal X400 Sludge Remover added to the system a few days before the system is drained and the radiator is fitted PLUS having Sentinel X100 Inhibitor added during commissioning of the new radiator.
