Total area of brickwork is just under 22 square meters. Part of the mortar is still pretty good - scratching at it with the point of a six-inch nail doesn't cause any damage, but some areas of mortar have degraded badly and just turn to dust when scratched. Patch re-pointing may be appropriate, but a professional may take the view that the whole area needs doing. If it's patched I think it will need somewhere between 30% and 50% of the total 22 square meter area re-pointing.
The bricks are London Brick "rustics" and are in good condition.
With the exception of the back wall, the maximum working height is 2.1 meters off ground level. The rear wall is 2.6 meters high at the highest working level.
I'm looking for a good-quality professional job doing at a price that's fair for both of us. I'd like the work done as soon as possible, but I can be flexible on timing.
