PLEASE NOTE that the stated budget is probably meaningless. It is there simply because it is a mandatory field for any posting on MyHammer.
This is a job that you would have to visit to give an estimate on - obviously only viable if you are working towards this area. If you are interested I can send more pix before any visit if that would help. I have attached 3 pix showing existing kitchen.
Here is the job description:
We have an existing kitchen with old wooden units, they are separated by and partially supported by brickwork - it's a bit weird.
Ultimately we want to gut it completely and end up with a new kitchen.
Initially I would like an estimate for completely removing all the units, sink etc. Also it will involve demolishing the main part of an internal wall to allow for the kitchen to be larger (it will be taking part of the existing lounge), blocking up an existing door and forming a new door opening (fairly easy bit as there used to be a door in this position). There are mock beams on the ceiling and other bits of wood nonsense which will need to be removed.
We will need some additional electrical work - new sockets etc, and the walls and the ceiling will need to be finished in plaster.
We will also need a complete new kitchen fitted but that is not something that can be quoted on as we have not yet decided on units etc etc.
We have an existing Rayburn which we will be removing and selling.
• Please note that I have already posted the job of decommissioning the Rayburn and installing a new condensing boiler. I am currently studying quotes for this part of the work as I consider it to be a somewhat specialist area.
• This post does NOT replace the posting for a boiler replacement.
