Remove a single glazed upvc window from a room on ground floor. Then replace with a double glazed window (which i already have - the glass is not yet in the frame so no problems there).
The new window is the same width as the old one (approx 1760mm), but is approx 400mm shorter. So i want the wall underneath built up 2 or 3 layers of bricks (maybe have wall raised slighly and a new lintle fitted thats slighly lower than original) and the new window fitted.
Access to inside and outside of window is clear and easy and ground level, with a decent open working area, and just 10ft from road/parking. Easy van access and parking space. All window parts are there - cills etc. Let me know if any more details are needed.
Cost is a factor so I would do any prep work if it would knock price down a bit.
Cheers. George.
