Repair Bathroom Extractor Fan Switch

I have a ceiling mounted extractor fan in the main bathroom which has recently stopped working. I know the issue is not to do with the fan itself as I have removed it and reattached it in the second bathroom and it works ok. Therefore, it must be a deeper problem. There is an off / on siwtch for the fan outside the bathroom above the bathroom door.
