repair leaking felt roof on dormer

I'm currently going through the process of buying a house (aiming to complete early december), and the property requires a roof being fixed where i think the dormer roof meets the tiled roof (although i don't know fully the details of this, building survey being done 2moro so more details could soon be on way). This leak has resulted in water coming in through the ceiling of the room over the garage (1970s extension). Photos provided include the front of the house (showing the room over the garage into which the roof is leaking), a closer up picture of the window of the room that is leaking, and a picture inside the room showing the ceiling that has leaked. I have no idea exactly of the roof material on the dormer but i imagine it is felt, i will eventually be able to provide much more detail but some idea of prices and availability leading up to xmas would be appreciated. I think there is access to the roof space but it is via the other end of the property and not directly from the room leaking. Any information required to help give quotes etc please let me know.
