Replace a Thermostatic bar mixer in a shower & a kitchen tap

I've just purchased a replacement Thermostatic bar mixer for my shower due to issues with pressure and consistency in temperature and need it to be fitted: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0048DA13G/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&m=A1KQNHGRM7FDI0 It is very similar to what is currently installed so I am hoping it should be a nice straight forward job. I have also purchased a new tap for my kitchen sink: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0027U3ST6/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=A2K9CLANJ8L55P From the reviews it requires a 10mm box spanner with a long handle to fit.
