The job is to provide a pre-winter service of my Ferroli DOMICondens F28 Boiler and central heating system. This was installed just over a year or so ago. It is installed in my kitchen, on the wall, with a vent running to the outside wall (note, my flat is on the 3rd floor, but presumably you can still test flue gases.)
Seems to be running fine, but I've been advised that on the return fill loop, there is a sticking non-return valve, which I was made aware of when I tried to repressurise the system when I bled the radiators last. I'd like to get that replaced/fixed.
In addition, I've been advised that it is possible to get a thermostatic valve fitted to this model that could be controlled by a wireless remote in another room (the flat has just been redecorated and I'm loathe to do any drilling of wires etc). I would like if possible to have one fitted, subject to understanding the cost of the part.
If [the job with the second element is] likely to require more that 2 hours work, this would need to be agreed in advance. Would appreciate costings first for any parts before agreeing to work.
Happy to be quoted an all-in price - haven't quoted that below as I'm unsure of parts costs.
Would like work to be undertaken between Tuesday 8 November - Friday 11 November, but if necessary I can move around a couple of spare holiday days I have to fit in.
