I believe it's a simple task but not sure if we may have problems with the all if it's a load bearing wall or not.
Anyway, what i need to do is, we have a door opening into our lounge right in the middle of an internal wall and i am loosing a lot of use of space.
What I want to do is take the door our, build a new wall to cover this opening and then re open one around 1 metre away from the original position and put the door/frame there.
It may require relocating a radiator and re-routing a couple of pipes but nothing major. We have wood flooring and as we change the position of the door, it may need laying a new flooring on the new door location, which we have spare strips. Also, maybe the new pipework may go underneath the floowinr as we lift a few of them up.
I need a tradesman who will do this for me in a short time and fully painted and decorated.
