Sound proofing the partition between 2 double bedrooms in a newly built modern flat. Existing partition - 100mm s.w. stud framing with plasterboard to both sides. Height-2.4 metres, length 3.7 metres. Existing plasterboard and skirting in one bedroom to be removed. Gyproc insulation quilt to be placed into stud framing, filling up the voids. 2 new sheets of Gyproc acoustic fibreboard to be fixed to existing stud framing. New 100mm x 12.5mm s.w. skirting to be fitted. At ceiling height - 200mm x 200mm duct to match original and constructed out of s.w.framing and 12.5mm plasterboard finish.2 x double socket to be made flush with line of new partition. Plasterboard to have skim coat of plaster and emulsion paint to finish. Price to include materials and labour.
