Hi,
I have recently chopped down a large (approx 8ft round) Bay Leaf Bush, which has left a number of small and medium sized stumps just above ground level. This was done with a chainsaw.
The stumps combine together to form one large ‘clump’ of stumps/roots which is approximately 2.5ft in diameter.
I have dug around this clump to a depth of approximately 10inches in an attempt to remove it myself, but it won’t budge.
I intend to build a patio on this area, with a sub-base, so I need the clump removing or grinding down to the level which I have dug so far.
I can email a picture of the clump immediately upon request, if required.
Thanks.
