This Service Description relates to the MyHammer Basic Membership and Premium Memberships (Premium Unlimited and Premium 250).

MY-HAMMER AG runs all services relating to the MyHammer membership according to existing MY-HAMMER AG Terms & Conditions, Terms & Conditions for Additional Services as well as the following Service Description, which relates to their specific technical and operational capabilities.

1 Features

MyHammer Members1 - have all the rights of MyHammer Basic Members, as well as all features associated with them. The MyHammer Premium Membership extends these features as described in the following Service Description. The benefit recipient will be hereinafter, be referred to as „Partner“. The expression „Customer,“ refers to the customer of the benefit recipient.

1.1 Partner Package Features
  • MyHammer Quality Seal:
    • A Partner receives the MyHammer Quality Seal, which is displayed next to his username on the most important parts of the site and highlights his reliability, quality and work ethic.
    • The Partner receives the MyHammer Quality Seal automatically, as soon as his address is verified via post and they have committed to the MyHammer Quality Code. Customers will be able to see that all partners with a MyHammer Quality Seal have:
      • verified their address and identity
      • confirmed their qualifications and memberships
      • committed to the MyHammer Quality Code
    • MyHammer Partner (Tradesman/Service Provider) Profile
      • detailed company and business description. The Partner can enter an unlimited amount of information to the profile box
    • MyHammer Directory Entry
      • the Partner receives a listing in the MyHammer directory as well as a single positive rating which is automatically chosen and displayed in the search result list of the MyHammer Directory. The Partner must have a positive quality rating to be eligible for the rating addition.
    • Place a Featured Quote
      • Members can make a Featured quote on any job - for a small fee
      • With a Featured Quote there is no success fee if you win the job.
      • The cost of featured quotes is based on the job price, site use, ratings etc., and will be shown to you before you submit your quote
1.2 Premium Unlimited
  • MyHammer Partner (Tradesman/Service Provider) Profile
    • display of the Partner’s contact details within the business card of his profile. These details include address, email and website if applicable.
    • unlimited number of photos within the business card of the profile.
    • upload documents (e.g. company brochures, certificates etc.) to his profile which are then visible to customers.
    • a map and route planner/directions to the Customer’s registered address.
    • show work times and company logo.
    • have a MyHammer web address for the Partners’ profile. The address includes the Partner’s company name and can be given to customers.
    • Customers can request quotes directly from Premium Members via their profile. The request is publicly visible.
    • customers can request a site visit on the profile of the Partner.
    • customers can send private messages to the Partner via the Partner’s profile.
  • MyHammer Directory Entry
    • list your directory entry in up to four categories of your choice.
    • assign 25 search terms of your choice to your directory entry.
    • a link to the detailed Partner profile is displayed above the entries of Basic Members/ Premium Partners and is highlighted in the search result list of the MyHammer directory.
    • prominent highlighted directory entry within the map search.
    • display of the contact details of the Partner, information about company and business description as well as the company logo within the search result list.
  • MyHammer Marketplace
    • Premium Members can request a call back from customers via their job. E.g. to organise a site visit
    • Partners can arrange a site visit with customers on the job site for free.
    • Customers can arrange a site visit with the Partner for free.
    • Customers can contact tradesmen directly via their job - for free.
    • Partners can respond to any jobs irrespective of value. Value refers to the start price given by the customer as well as the quote made by the Partner. "Respond" means quoting and using of any contact functionality within the forum.
1.3 Premium 250
  • MyHammer Partner (Tradesman/Service Provider) Profile
    • display of the Partner’s contact details within the business card of his profile. These details include address, email and website if applicable.
    • unlimited number of photos within the business card of the profile.
    • upload documents (e.g. company brochures, certificates etc.) to his profile which are then visible to customers.
    • a map and route planner/directions to the Customer’s registered address.

  • MyHammer Directory Entry
    • list your directory entry in up to four categories of your choice.

    • a link to the detailed Partner profile is displayed above the entries of Basic Members/ Premium Partners and is highlighted in the search result list of the MyHammer directory.
    • prominent highlighted directory entry within the map search.
    • display of the contact details of the Partner, information about company and business description as well as the company logo within the search result list.
  • MyHammer Marketplace

2 Conditions for Continued Access

MyHammer requires you to maintain prompt and regular payments in order for you to enjoy continued access to the full functionality of your membership. In order to enjoy uninterrupted service you must register a credit card or PayPal account so that Quarterly payments can be processed.

3 Duty of Partners to Participate

In order to ensure that the Partners MyHammer profile can achieve a prominent place in search engines such as Google, MSN and Yahoo!, it is important that we have accurate and current information about our partners. This information should include successfully completed jobs, other references and a detailed profile. The more accurately and complete the information, the better the results will be.
